CUSTOM COMPOSITIONS / ARRANGEMENTS
Commissioned custom compositions and/or arrangements for percussion ensembles, drumlines (battery and front ensemble), percussion soloists and chamber groups, and jazz small groups are available from Edward Freytag. He has (as can be found on the website) many published works for percussion to his credit and has a history of writing for several championship marching percussion ensembles.

LIVE PERFORMANCE / STUDIO SESSIONS
Edward Freytag is available for live performances and recording sessions in the areas of drumset, aux/world percussion, and general percussion. A variety of styles and genres are available. Many of Edward’s performance credits are listed in his BIO under the ABOUT tab.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Private instruction is available for various types of percussion skills, either live (for those in the middle Tennessee area) or remotely through Skype/Facetime. Edward specializes in preparation for auditions, i.e. regional or state ensemble auditions and college auditions, and in preparation for solo and chamber events, particularly in the areas of commercial music and jazz.

CLINICS / MASTERCLASSES
Edward Freytag offers a variety of topics for clinic sessions and masterclasses for either students (middle school through collegiate) or for music educators.
He has been focusing on assisting drumset and auxiliary percussion students and instructors to understand their roles in commercial music ensembles through a clinic session titled “How Drummers and Percussionists work together in school/pro commercial and jazz music ensembles”. The clinic (along with co-clinician, William Ellis) has been very well received in every instance! He has also guest conducted several percussion and commercial music ensembles as a part of the clinic/masterclass sessions.

REHEARSALS / CAMPS
Music instruction for student rehearsals and/or camps at the middle school through collegiate levels are available. Edward has an extensive background in rehearsal sessions in many musical idioms, i.e. marching percussion (outdoor and indoor / high school to drum corps), concert bands and wind ensembles, jazz big bands and small groups, and chamber ensembles.

ADJUDICATING
Edward Freytag has extensive experience in many areas of musical adjudication. He is a former percussion judge for WGI and is currently an active judge in the ETPAA (East Tennessee Performing Arts Association).
He is available for percussion and music judging in outdoor and indoor marching arts events as well as solo and ensemble assessments/festivals in any category. He is also well versed in adjudicating jazz events, concert events, and chamber music events. Edward runs a rather active adjudicating schedule…early contact for adjudicated events is highly suggested.
