We are often asked, "What do you have specifically for beginning percussion performers?" Generally, there are always some beginning level pieces in most collections. Edward Freytag has a new collection coming soon that caters specifically to beginning level percussion students. "FIRST SOLOS & DUETS" will be an offering from RowLoff Productions (www.rowloff.com) that will contain only Grade 1 solos and duets for concert snare drum, mallet keyboard, multi-percussion, and timpani. Containing 3 snare solos, 3 keyboard solos, 3 timpani solos, 3 multi-perc solos, 4 duets, and 4 bonus solos that are designed to be performed with the play-along tracks in RowLoff's "The Snare Drummer's Toolbox", this collection will be ideal for concerts, solo & ensemble competitions, supplemental assignments, or as great reading material for intermediate players. A BOD PRODUCTIONS announcement...Edward Freytag will be playing percussion with the Rusty Holloway Sextet at Rudy's Jazz Room (www.rudysjazzroom.com) in Nashville on Thursday, August 16, 2018, from 6:00-8:30pm.
